To the delight of consumers and with summer right around the corner, Lyle’s® is launching into the ice cream market with two products!
Entering the ice cream market is a significant and proud moment for the brand. It represents more than a new product launch; it is the opening of a new chapter that allows us to bring Lyle’s into another deeply rooted and meaningful consumption occasion.
“Ice cream is a category with huge penetration and a strong emotional connection among UK consumers, making it a natural and powerful space for our brand to play in,” said Sandra Gonilho, Head of Marketing. “Bringing Lyle’s into ice cream, with its rich heritage, trusted quality and unmistakable taste, is something truly distinctive. It allows us to translate everything the brand stands for into a format that consumers already love, while offering something genuinely new and special.”
The launch will debut with two 500-ml. tubs in two indulgent flavors: Golden Syrup and Honeycomb. Shortly after, the range will be expanded with additional formats, including a 5‑l. tub for foodservice and 110-ml. mini tubs, also aimed at foodservice, enabling Lyle’s to reach even more occasions and consumers.
We are already proud to be listed with the retailer Iceland, with around 1,100 stores nationwide, which represents an important first step in this exciting journey and gives the brand strong national visibility from the outset.
Looking ahead, our ambition continues. Stick formats are planned for introduction in summer 2027, alongside new flavor innovations, reinforcing our commitment to long‑term growth in the category.
