In October, a sugar packaging and distribution facility in Normanton, West Yorkshire in the United Kingdom was added to the ASR Group family.
The facility packs and distributes white granulated, baking and specialty sugars to food retailers and wholesalers in the U.K. under the Whitworths Sugar brand and private label brands.
The Normanton operation will complement our Thames Refinery and Plaistow Plant in the U.K. by allowing us to better serve our customers through added packaging capacity and improved logistics.
