Redpath Sweetens Toronto’s Beloved Sugar Shack Event

Redpath® Sugar was proud to once again sponsor Toronto's iconic waterfront event, Sugar Shack TO, and contribute to its resounding success. This year, the event found a new home at the Harbourfront Centre, just down the street from our Toronto Refinery, where it welcomed families, friends and maple syrup enthusiasts for a weekend filled with fun, flavor and entertainment.

At the heart of the festivities was the Redpath booth, where our team delighted visitors by serving more than 1,000 cups of hot apple cider, paired with recipe cards to inspire guests to recreate the cozy drink at home using Redpath Sugar. Our beloved “Acts of Sweetness” truck, Divy, stole the spotlight once again, offering a picture-perfect moment for families and friends. Adding to the excitement, our bean bag toss game brought smiles and laughter to attendees of all ages.

The Sugar Shack event itself was a celebration of all things sweet and Canadian. Guests enjoyed fresh Ontario maple taffy from two Sugar Shacks, interactive activities, a warming station complete with bonfires and a captivating maple sugaring demonstration. Live entertainment added to the vibrant atmosphere, with performances by the Great Canadian Fiddle Show and Tim Burr, the Circus Lumberjack.
