We are delighted to share that our company Ingenio San Nicolás (ISN) was awarded the Green and Responsible Company certificate by the State Attorney General's Office for Environmental Protection (PMA) in Mexico. The recognition is given to companies that successfully address observations identified during voluntary audits conducted by the PMA.
At the ceremony held in the auditorium of the PMA offices in Boca del Río, Veracruz, on November 27, representatives from 39 companies received the recognition from former attorney Sergio Rodríguez Cortés. He emphasized that the Green and Responsible Company certificate is a tool of the environmental policy promoted by the former state governor, Cuitláhuac García Jiménez, to encourage the business sector to collaborate with the government on sustainability issues.
Rodríguez Cortés reiterated that the Green and Responsible Company certificate is awarded to companies that fully comply with applicable environmental legislation and regulations in the state, following a call issued in 2024.
