  • From South Bay head south on US 27 for 6 miles to Mile Marker 68.  There is a yellow caution light and you will turn right at the light. This is Okeelanta Rd / our drive way. There is a Guard shack at the beginning of the road.  They will give you directions from there.
  • Coming from Miami you will travel North on US Hwy 27.  From the intersection of Interstate 75 and US 27 we are 35 miles north. You will come to Miler Marker 67 and see a yellow caution light.  You will get in the left hand turning lane and turn at the light.

Appointments times are 7am to 4pm and can be set from 8am to 4:30pm 5 days before load date all the way up to the day before. If no appointment slot is available please email the contact below.

During busy times we may be open Saturday or Sunday but you will need to get an appointment by Friday at 5pm

Additional directions for drivers to enter

  • Below is a map of how to get to the DC and the Inbound Scale for check in. you must cross the scale and weight in or you will not be checked in for loading.
  • After scaling in you will proceed around the building past the outbound scale and get in line till shipping calls you to a door. Please do not block the parking lot or the Road to the Power plant.
  • If you are directed to go to Warehouse 3 to get loaded please go back out to Okeelanta RD take a left and follow the signs.

Appointment scheduling policies

TMS available to schedule: You will be able to view possible appointment times 5 days in advance of the pickup date, and not any further in advance.

TMS hours: BluJay is available on any web browser 24/7

TMS lock out timing: You cannot schedule an appointment after 16:30 pm the day before the load must pick up, or the day of loading, the appointment scheduler will need to schedule same day appointment, call the appointment scheduler.

Appointment policy at the DC/WH 3

  • We have a 30 minute window on either side of your appt. You are allowed to come in earlier than 30 minutes before your appointment, but this does not guarantee an earlier loading time.
  • If you arrive past the 30 minute late window we will try to work you in, but you might not get loaded. If you choose not to wait you must leave and call / email to make a new pickup appointment.

Trailer rejection

Trailers must be FOOD GRADE (Clean, Dry, Odor Free, and No Holes). You will be rejected if you have problems in any of the above categories.

Trailer must be swept out prior to arrival at the facilities you will not be able to sweep out once inside the facilities and will be rejected for dirty trailers.

Trucks must come in full on fuel as they will be scaled in and out at the DC.

What to do if your trailer is rejected

Correct reason for rejection and resubmit for inspection, replace with a different trailer. Email Appropriate QC department with the following; date and time of rejection, name of rejecting party, and description of the rejection should you want to protest the rejection or have a waiver considered for loading

If your load is rejected at the customer

If you have a load with rejected product you must call/email Liliana Vazquez at Liliana.Vazquez@asr-group.com or 561-992-5610 so that we can figure out what to do with the product.

Scaling in and out

  • The driver will be able to scale in at the DC. Penser and West Logistics do not have a scale.
  • After getting loaded the driver must put the seal on the trailer prior to leaving the shipping departments.
  • South Bay scale does not record axel weight. Do not attempt to try this on our scales or you will be asked to leave and not return.

DC check-in requirements and security

  • All occupants must have valid government issued picture ID to enter the Plant. Drivers must have a valid DL for entry. You will need our Pick up number in order to check in. please insure you have the correct info.
  • All vehicles are subject to search. All operators who refuse will be turned away and not be loaded. Absolutely no contraband (drugs/alcohol) or weapons allowed on site. If discovered, law enforcement will be notified and asked to resolve the situation.

Delivery to customer

  • Please mark tenders in BluJay as being at the customer and departing the customer. This is how you will get paid.
  • On time deliveries to our customers are imperative. If you will be late you must contact us immediately. We need to alert our customer that we will be providing their product late.
